Obituary

A press man at daily news, a carpenter, a mail courier, a jack of all trades and genuinely the world's best dad!

Yes, he accomplished many other things but the quality of his love for his family cannot be overstated.

His life began in Middleton on June 20th of 1963.

At the age of 14, he met Rosalee May Hudgins, the love of his life and got married on September 11, 1982, who survives him. Dennis is also survived by sons, Jamie Lyle (Samantha Victoria), Greenwood; Collin Evan (Princess Victoria), Middleton; two grandchildren, Owen James, and Reilly Marie; brothers Todd (Patty), Beaconsfield; Marven (Heidi), Bridgetown; sister Shirley (Nathaniel), Bridgetown; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Lyle Herbert and Delma Martha (Brinton) and his sister Rose.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Dennis and the best of that was looking after his two wonderful grandkids. He loved fun afternoons with family. His pleasant and startling personality was contagious to everyone he met and that would prove to be his superpower as he was well liked and loved in every sense of the word.

On May 6, 2024, Dennis shed his earthly pain and made a graceful exit, surrounded by the love he had nurtured all his life.

Today and forever, he walks free from pain.

Memorial service will be held on Monday, May 13, 2024 at two o'clock in the afternoon in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, (902) 825-3448.
