Deric Bryan
Rhodenizer
February 13, 1958 – November 1, 2022
Rhodenizer, Deric Bryan ~ of Harbourville, Kings Co. It is with deep sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved father, Bryan 64, from Harbourville. After a valiant battle, he passed away on November 1, 2022, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, family by his side. Born in Berwick, February 13, 1958, to Barbara (Murphy) Rhodenizer and the late Eric F. Rhodenizer. He leaves behind his only child and daughter, Karla, and son-in-law, Stephen Heward; seven siblings, David, Rodney, Martin, Kevin, Darin, Kathy and Diane; one surviving uncle, two aunts and many nieces and nephews. His friend Lois, as well as an abundance of extended family and friends. Bryan was a driver by trade and love. He could drive though any terrain, or condition without blinking an eye or jittering a nerve. As a teenager he started driving for his father at M.W. Graves Ltd (Cobi Foods). As years passed, he also worked alongside and for his father, helping the family businesses Rhodenizer Transfer (long haul), E.F.R Disposal & Rhodenizer Salvage; grow and succeed. He also drove a dump truck for his father and worked with his brother David for several years long haul. Bryan was affectionately known as Bunga to his lifelong childhood circle. He was fond of recounting his adventures and memories; you often had to laugh (and shake your head) at some of the things he had seen and done in his life. Bryan had a smile that lit up a room, humour that kept people laughing, manners and a heart for doing what was right. Bryan's love of animals was great, therefore any donations made in his name could be kindly directed to an animal charity of your choice. Special thanks to our family physician, Dr Sean McGee and the care team on Med A. A memorial celebration of Bryan's life will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, November 12 , in the Berwick Baptist Church, 265 Commercial St., Berwick. Rev. Andrew Conrad officiating, with a reception to follow. Interment will be in Berwick Cemetery, at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home 398 Main St., toll free 1-855-825-3448. Online guestbook may be signed by visiting: www.middletonfuneralhome.com
