Tupper, Derrick Michael – Age 34 of Lawrencetown, Annapolis Co., passed away suddenly, Saturday, November 5, 2022. Born in Kentville, he was a son of Crystal Tupper and the late Michael Tupper. Derrick was a scallop fisher on the Predator II and thoroughly loved his job. Derrick always had a smile, a story and a laugh. He enjoyed his Tim's coffee and going for drives. He had anybody's back who needed him although he would never ask for help himself. He was the most honest and true person. He may have struggled but he is the truest example of no matter what you do or what you go through, you can turn your life around. Derrick is survived by brother, Jordan MacDonald; sisters, Brittany MacDonald, Michaela Tupper, Brooke MacDonald and Ellen MacDonald; nieces and nephews, Luke MacDonald, Adeline Ryan, Jocelyn Denyar and Brooklyn LeBlanc; girlfriend, Tanya Robar and many others who touched his life. He was predeceased by his fathers, Michael Tupper and Wade MacDonald. There will be a celebration of life held Saturday, November 12th from 1-3 p.m. at the Nictaux District & Volunteer Fire Hall.
