Power, Diane Elizabeth ~ age 58 of Aylesford, Kings County, NS, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, December 23, 2024. Born in Middleton, NS, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Sylvia (Banks) Power. Diane was a hard worker and had worked a few places in her life, Eden Valley Poultry being her last. Diane enjoyed watching her soap opera, General Hospital, being outside, and doing different types of crafts. She always found ways to keep herself busy. Diane was one to always lend a helping hand to anyone who asked or needed help. She had a big loving heart. She was a loving mother and grandmother who always looked after her family. Diane is survived by husband, Terry Saunders; daughter, Miranda (Nick) Power; grandson, Grayson Power; brother, Blair Power; cousin, Murray (Lisa) Banks; and many well-loved friends. Besides her parents, Diane was predeceased by her brother, Gary Power. Visitation will take place 2-4pm, Saturday, January 4, 2025, in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., toll free 1-855-825-3448. Graveside service will take place at 2:00pm, Sunday, January 5, 2025, in the Hillside Cemetery, Port George, NS, with Rev. Dr. Danny Smith officiating.
