GRANT, Donald William ~ Age 92 passed away Friday, April 9, 2021 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital. Born in Middleton he was a son of the late Oscar and Jennie (Ellis) Grant. Don was a heavy equipment operator most of his working career, and carpenter's helper in Greenwood. For enjoyment he loved playing the fiddle in the Annapolis East String Band. He attended many of the local Jam sessions entertaining family and friends with his music. Don is survived by and will be sadly missed by his sons, Robert, Middleton, David, Windsor, Gerald (Laura), Nictaux; brother, Robert, Middleton; grandchildren, Stephen Grant, Amanda Grant, Laurie O'Connor, Jenna Neily; great grandchildren, Luke and Brea.  Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Marion (Armstrong); son, Kenneth and sister Pauline Horridge. There will be a graveside service 2:00 pm Sunday, April 18, 2021 in the Fairview Cemetery, Lawrencetown with Juanita Richardson officiating. Following the service family and friends are invited to 1834 Middle Road, Nictaux.  Donations is Don's memory can be made to a Charity of Choice.
