McBRIDE, Donald Patrick
– Of Nictaux formerly of Aylesford passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 28, 2018, in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton, at the age of 85 years. He was the eldest son the late of Patrick and Muriel (Whynotte) McBride. Donald never sat down and always had a job on the go such as working in lumber yards, peat moss bog, pool hall, fishing, restaurant service and fast food. He is survived by his girlfriend/best friend Diann Veinotte; nine children, Leon (Hilary) McBride, Alberta; Glenn McBride, Caledonia; Micheal McBride, Alberta; James (Richtina) McBride, Ontario; Donnie (Trish) McBride, Ontario; Danny (Mandy) McBride, Ontario; Shirley Foley, Pugwash; Teresa McBride, British Columbia; Anna McBride, Ontario. He is survived by brothers, Eric (Dianne) McBride, Aylesford; James (Sharon) McBride, Greenwood; David (Annie) McBride, Greenwood; Robert "Bobby" McBride, Aylesford; sisters, Margurite Durling, Meadowvale; Janet (Vance) Bezanson. He was predeceased by his parents and wife, Elynor, sister, Virginia Clements. No visitation by request. There will a Legion Tribute, beginning at 11:00 a.m.,

, followed by a Memorial Service at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 98, 1472 Veterans Lane, Kingston, with Rev. Mitchell Foley officiating. A reception and time of fellowship will follow. Interment service conducted by Rev. Fr. Charles Offor will take place at 2:00 p.m.,

, in Church of St. Jerome's Cemetery, West Caledonia, Queens Co., where he will be buried with his father. Donations in Donald's memory can be made to Parkinson Canada – Maritime Region or to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
