Sabean, Donald Paul "Wayne" ~ age 76 of Port Lorne, NS. A beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away at home on July 22, 2024, after a long battle with COPD surrounded by his family. He was a lifelong resident of Port Lorne, NS. He worked for many years with Mid Valley Construction as a carpenter. He enjoyed being at home working around the house and spending time with his grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Doris (Neaves) Sabean and brother, Brian Sabean. Wayne leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Cathy (Hawkesworth) Sabean; sisters, Donna (Bill) Hayes, Nictaux; Debbie (Robbie) White, Hatchet Lake; Francie (Gary) Connell, Clarence; Marilyn (Kevin) Cvitovich, Hammonds Plains; his children, Jody Sabean (Colleen), Oxford; Teena Sabean, Lawrencetown; stepchildren, Kyle Huntley (Sandra), Kentville; Crystal Tupper (Brian), Waterville; Kevin Huntley (Charlene), Port Lorne and many nieces and nephews. 19 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Valley Regional Hospital and all the CCA's and VON nurses that came for home visits. In keeping with Wayne's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at the home of Cathy & Wayne in Port Lorne on Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 1PM-3PM.
