CUMMINGS, Donna Sandra ~ age 75 of Meadowvale, NS passed away peacefully on Friday, October 12, 2018 in North Queens Nursing Home, Caledonia. Born in Montreal, Quebec she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Doris (Williams) Cole. Donna was an accomplished artist with artwork displayed at Valley Regional Hospital and the Art Shack / Artist Circle in Margaretsville. She devoted her life to raising her family as an air force wife having been stationed in Comox, BC; Chatham, NB; Baden, Germany; Summerside, PEI and lastly Greenwood, NS. Donna loved her family dearly and enjoyed caring for her home and gardens. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband,  Glenn Cummings; daughter, Dina (Tom) MacDonald, Meadowvale; sons, G. Adam Cummings (Sarah Josefson), Kelowna, BC; Robert (Deb Kershaw) Cummings, Enterprise, ON; grandchildren, Chelsey Glover (Jay Bruce), Meadowvale; Devan Glover ( Kimberlee Kuz), Calgary, AB; Megan Glover ( Ryan Boone), Nictaux; Ryan Cummings, Penticton, BC; great grandchildren Bayleigh, Maddox, Grayson, Eisleigh; brothers, Robert (Joanne) Cole, Upper Kings Clear, NB; Edwin Albert Jr., Brisbane, Australia. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister-in-law Valda. In keeping with Donna's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, October 19, 2018  in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448 with Rev. Patty Beals officiating. A celebration of life will be held following the service at Donna and Glenn's home, 98 Poplar Drive, Meadowvale, NS. The family would like to thank the staff of North Queens Nursing Home for the amazing care and kindness they not only gave our Mom but us as well in her last days. Family flowers only please.
