Roy, Donna "Sharron" (Reid), age 83, of Wilmot, formerly of Truro, went home to be with her Friend and Saviour Jesus on November 12, 2025. She was born in Truro on March 7, 1942, to Earle and Bertha (Stewart) Reid. Sharron worked for most of her life but her greatest joy was raising her three children and in her later years spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sharron became a born-again Christian in midlife and from then on served her Lord faithfully. Sharron leaves behind sons, Stewart (Kelly) Wilmot; Tom (Tina) Ardoise; daughter, Donna (Don) Calgary; grandchildren, Tanner (Caitlin), Toni- Lynn (Jeff), Lindsay (Turner), Spencer (Julie), Morgan, and Brandon; great grandchildren, Vaughner, Holly, Anderson, Makenna and Harrison. Sharron also leaves siblings, Maxine, Becky (George) Stewart and Gary and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; brother-in-law, Charles; and former spouse, Randolph Roy. Sharron's many friends in Truro were an important part of her life and she was always thankful for their thoughtfulness and kindness shown her throughout her life. Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held at 11:00am on Monday, November 24, 2025, in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, toll free, 1-855-825-3448, with Pastor Gerry Bezanson officiating. A reception will follow the service, and interment will take place the same day at Harmony Cemetery, Harmony, Colchester County, at 4:00pm.
