SPICER, Donna Jean - age 75, of Berwick, Kings Co., passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 11, 2015. Born in Berwick, she was the daughter of the late Harlan and Olive (Joudrey) Dorey. Donna lived most of her life in Berwick. She was an avid hockey fan and she was a member of the Berwick United Church and member of the Berwick and District Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. Donna was a member of the North Mountain Chorus. She loved family and friends, music and travelling. Surviving are her sons, Dale (Janice), Shane (Gail) and Troy (Heather); granddaughters, Jessica, Justine and Briana; grandsons, Devon and Jeremy; great-grandson, Benjamin Dale; sister, Stephanie (Terry) Hiltz; brother, Rod (Lois) Dorey, sister-in-law, Linda Dorey; brother-in-law, Gary Zwicker; companion, Bill Wilson; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Stewart Spicer; sisters, Cheryl Zwicker and Robyn (Gregg) Mouzar; brothers, Dale, Darrell and Wade Dorey. There will be no visitation. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, March 14, in Weston Christian Fellowship Church, 3611 Brooklyn Street, Weston, with Pastor Gary Horton officiating, with a reception to follow. Burial will take place in the Berwick Cemetery, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Victorian Order of Nurses, Annapolis Valley Branch or to the Palliative Care Program of the Victorian Order of Nurses.
