SHERMAN, Doris Maxine 82 of Nictaux, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 14, 2011 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Wilmot, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Gladys (Wallace) Wiles. Doris was a longtime member of the Amazing Grace Baptist Church, Bridgetown. She enjoyed sewing, as well as Country & Western music, singing and had a natural talent for playing just about any instrument she put her hand on. Doris is survived by her son Troy, Nictaux and his father John; sisters Pearl Cooper, Middleton and Shirley Keddy, Wilmot. She was predeceased by her brother Donald Wiles. By request, there will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2011 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448, Pastor Brandon Lake officiating.
