BALTZER, Dorothy Lorraine
- age 60, of Black Rock, Kings Co., passed away peacefully, after a brave battle with cancer on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at home surrounded by family members. Born in Berwick, she was a daughter of the late Murray and Sylvia (Irwin) Brewster. Dorothy had been employed at Kings Regional Rehabilitation Centre, Waterville as the Executive Assistant to several administrators, retiring after 39 years of service. She enjoyed spending weekends and vacations working at Oaklawn Farm Zoo, Millville. Dorothy was devoted to her family, friends and will be greatly missed by her beloved dog, Barbie. Surviving are her husband of 38 years, Maxwell "Mac" Baltzer; daughter, Adrienne (Philip) Church, Windsor; son, Aaron Baltzer, Kingston; stepchildren, David Baltzer, Waterville; Kim Baltzer (Amanda Graves), Windermere; grandchildren, Scott, Jade and Chase; brothers, Murray (Joanne) Brewster, Riverview, N.B.; David (Sharon) Brewster, Kentville; Wayne (Ashley) Brewster, Eglinton, Ont.; James Vandenberg, Vancouver, B.C.; Mark McDow, Belleville, Ont.; Stephen Brewster, Ontario; sisters, Marilyn (Garfield) Dee, Fredericton, N.B.; Laura Brewster, Edmonton, Alta.; Linda Brewster, Berwick; several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation. Memorial service will take place at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 8, in Black Rock Baptist Church, 1248 Russia Rd., Black Rock. Pastor Marie McCallum officiating, with a reception to follow. Family flowers only, donations in her memory may be to Canadian Cancer Society or to Oaklawn Farm Zoo. A
