RITCHIE (Fitzgerald), Dorothy Elizabeth ~ Age 77, of Lawrencetown, Annapolis Co., passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2019, in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born on April 12, 1942, in Kingsport, Kings Co., she was a daughter of the late Jean Fitzgerald. Dorothy was well known in the Lawrencetown area and loved to knit socks and mittens, donating many of them to other people. She and her late husband often attended services at the Lawrencetown United Baptist Church, which they enjoyed very much. Dorothy is survived by many cousins in Nova Scotia and in various other places. Besides her mother, she was predeceased by her husband, Donald C. Ritchie; sister, Mary Stevens; brother, Louis Fitzgerald. By request cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m., Sunday, January 5 , and a memorial service at 11 a.m., Monday, January 6, both in Lawrencetown United Baptist Church, 430 Main Street, Lawrencetown. Rev. Eugene Foster officiating, with interment in Wiswall Cemetery, Wilmot. Donations in her memory may be made to Lawrencetown United Baptist Church.
