The family of Dorothy Elizabeth (Daniels) Hatt wish to announce that she went to Heaven to be with her beloved husband Willoughby on November 10, 2018. Dorothy was born in 1927. She and her sister Thelma were raised by their parents John and Marie Daniels in Nictaux.  She will be missed by her children Joan (Ralston) Dobson, Rose, Basil (Margaret), Carolyn (Ron) MacCumber and George.  Granny will also be missed by her grandchildren Jeff, Valerie, Andrew, Heather, and Savannah and their spouses and by her great-grandchildren Matthew, Jaret and James, Felix, Wyatt, Isabella, Felicity and Andrea and all of her extended family.  Her parents, her sister Thelma, her son-in-law Ralston, two grandchildren and one great-grandson went before her.  The family would like to thank Dr. Paul MacLean, Rodney Veinotte and the nurses and doctors at SMH who looked after her so well. There will be no visitation.  The funeral service will be held on Wednesday November 14, 2018 at 2:00pm at the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448 with Rev. Bill McLeod officiating.
