OLENICK, Dorothy Helen "Dot" ~ of Nictaux, NS passed Friday, June 5, 2020 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Halifax, NS she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Lawrence. Dot used to manage the Social Centre at CFB Greenwood for many years. She was a person who always worked. Dot loved going on cruises with her husband John and enjoyed a little gambling as well. She also enjoyed fishing, golfing and RV'ing down through the States in the winter months. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, John; daughter, Dianna Burns, Nictaux; sons, Larry Bell, Manitoba and Christopher (Kim) Olenick, St. John's, Newfoundland; grandchildren, Alexander, Sarah, Phillip and Wally. Beside her parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Betty and Ethel; brother, Clayton and two grandsons. In keeping with Dot's wishes, cremation has taken place a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
