MAHAR, Earle Harris - age 74 of Greenwood Square, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018, in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Kentville, Earle was the son of Bernice (Webber) Mahar, Grand View Manor, Berwick and the late Henry Mahar. Earle was a Veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces retiring as a Warrant Officer after 33 years of service. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and gardening in his retirement. He loved his dogs Jocko and Molly.  Besides his mother, Earle will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 53 years, Linda Marie (Hiltz); son, Scott (Karen) Mahar and their children, Cody (CJ) and Jessie of Clearbrook, BC; daughter, Michelle (Jason) Finch of Telkwa, BC and their children, Kyle (Vanessa) of Summerside PEI and Nicole (Steve) of Terrace BC; sisters, Sandra Graves of Berwick and Judy(Tim) Fredericks of Middle Sackville . He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In keeping with Earle's wishes, cremation has taken place and there be no visitation or service. The family wishes to thank the Kingston Legion, the VON, and Palliative Care for all their support during this trying time. A special thanks to our friends for their support.
