SPIDLE, Earle Neil - 86yrs, Surrounded by his loving family and holding the hand of his wife of 61 years Barbara, Dad passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Wednesday, August 14, 2013. Born in Danvers, Massachusetts 1927 and moving to Canada at the age of 5, Dad and Mom lived and raised their family in Wilmot, Nova Scotia. Dad is survived by his wife, Barbara, children Judy (Myles) Jordan, Sussex, NB, Alan (Joan) New Minas, Eric (Karen) Wilmot, Kirk (Sharon) Wilmot, Grandchildren, Grant (Naomi), Aaron (David), Philip (Dana), Justin, Amanda (Nick), Jody, Tina (Chad), Dawn, Cody, Kristine, Kyle, Great Grand Children, Anthony, Jessica, Damia, Jadyn and brother Rodney, P.E.I. Dad was predeceased by his father, Jacob Neil Spidle, mother, Alma Neily (Hatt) Spidle, Sister, Edna Nash and Brother Roger Spidle. Dad worked as a lineman for Maritime Tel & Tel for 40 years, he enjoyed Square Dancing and camping. He camped from the Atlantic to the Pacific and throughout the US as part of the Good Sam Club and with his family and friends in the Old Ford Truck Camper". A celebration of life will be held Saturday at 2pm at the Middleton Funeral Home with Victor McCullough officiating. Interment will be immediately following the service at Church Grove Cemetery, Melvern Square. Reception to follow at the family home in Wilmot.
