GIESBRECHT, Edgar John, age 78 of Parkers Cove, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 23, 2017, in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton surrounded by his family. Born in Steinbach, Manitoba, he was a son of the late Diedrick and Margareth (Wiens) Giesbrecht. Edgar will be sadly missed by his best friend and partner, Phyllis Clayton, Parkers Cove; daughters, Linda "Gail" (Peter) Bulkley, Hamilton, ON; Donna Giesbrecht, Kingston; sons, Gary Giesbrecht, Yellowknife, NWT; Dennis (Dana) Giesbrecht, Keswick, ON; brothers, Harvey Giesbrecht, Cambridge, ON; Ernest (Mary Jane), Port Sydney, ON; Dennis (Betty), Sault Ste. Marie, ON; Robert (Joan), Winnipeg, Manitoba; grandson, Tyson and granddaughter Jordyn. Besides his parents, Edgar was pre-deceased by his wife, Beverley and brother, Stanley. In keeping with Edgar's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448.
