MOORE, Edgar Kelley "Eddie" – Age 71, of Mount Hanley, Annapolis Co., passed away on Monday, January 6, 2020, at home. Born in Brooklyn, he was the son of the late Gordon and Hilda (Trask) Moore of Brooklyn. Edgar spent 25 years as a school bus driver for the Annapolis Valley Regional School Board, prior to that spending many years as a commercial fisherman on the Bay of Fundy. He enjoyed being out on the water. Edgar also did roofing and spent time in his garden, doing woodworking, listening to country music, and playing guitar. He loved his cat Felix. Edgar will be sadly missed by his wife, Carolyn; daughter, Tammy (Chris), Outram; sons, Matthew (Megan) South Williamston and Gordie, South Williamston; granddaughter, Shayanna (Max) Middleton; grandsons, Nick (Tara) Aylesford, and MacKenzie, Mount Hanley; great grandchildren, Brynnlie, Phoenix, Leslie, Ivy, Daxson and Riley. He is survived by sisters, Marilyn Veinot, Brooklyn; Marcia Turner, Wilmot; Sharon (Gordon Bent), Cottage Cove; Patricia (Max) Ryerson, Wilmot; Mary Moore (Tom), Brooklyn; Jennifer Hallet, South Williamston; sister-in-law, Sylvia Moore, Brooklyn; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by father, Gordon; mother, Hilda; brothers, Truman, Phillip; and sister, Sheila. At Eddie's request, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. Memorial service will take place at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, January 9, in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, toll free 1-855-825-3448, with Rev. Leon Langille officiating. Family and friends are invited to a reception after the service. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Port George.
