MACKENZIE, Edith Kathleen, 91 of Greenwood, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2010 in Grand View Manor, Berwick. Born in Montreal she was a daughter of the late Charles L. and Ethel (Kay) Wood. Kathleen retired from the Civil Service at the age of 55. She lived in Ottawa until 1991, where she was an active member of the Bells and Beaus Seniors Club. Kath enjoyed her time at the cottage on the Rideau River System and particularly skating on the Rideau Canal in Ottawa. She is survived by her son, Eric (Rachelle) Wood, Greenwood; grandchildren, Michael (Anne) Wood; Christine (Mike) Beck; Tracy (Graham) Walsh; Dennis Wood and three great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Wallace MacKenzie; brother, Harold and sister, Iris. Cremation has taken place.
