Edith Mary White

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Edith Mary White, age 70, of Kingston, NS, on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Middleton, NS, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Beatrice (Poole) White.

Edith loved music, and her favourite artist was George Jones. She enjoyed playing guitar and going for drives. In her younger years, Edith enjoyed playing music for others. She also loved her dog, Chloe. Edith will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Robar (Agnes Pinch), Kentville, and Vanessa Robar, Wilmot; grandson, Jordan Martin; step-sister, Karen (Royal) Strong; sister-in-law, Sandra Durling; nieces, Kaitlynn Strong, Emily Strong, Angel Durling, Veronica Mulvale, Elisha and Morgan; nephew, Jason Strong; great nieces, Cassandra Durling, Samantha and Kayla; great nephew, Skyler Durling; cousin, Jerry Poole, New Brunswick; long time friend of the family, David Zinck; and extended family. Besides her parents, Edith was predeceased by her companion, Glen Ernst and brother, Gary White.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
