GUINDON, Edmond Ross "Ed" ~ Age 67, of Torbrook West, Annapolis Co., passed away peacefully at home on Monday, January 16, 2023, with family members by his side. Born on January 16, 1956, in Kapuskasing, Ontario, he was a son of the late Samuel E. and Bessie M. (Montgomery) Guindon. In 1975, in Toronto, Ont., Edmond joined the Canadian Armed Forces, with postings in Summerside, P.E.I. (1975-1981), Borden, Ont. (1981-1987) and then Greenwood, N.S. (1987-1996), from where he retired and settled in the Annapolis Valley. He enjoyed time spent at wood working. Surviving are his wife of 44 years, the former L. Darlene Ward; daughter, Lisa Darlene (Colin) Kendall, East Torbrook; son, Jason Troy (Miranda) Guindon, Oromocto, N.B.; grandchildren, Caleb and Hanna Kendall and Aidan Guindon; sister, Susan Elizabeth Miconi, Barrie, Ont.; mother-in-law, Caroline Ward, Prince Edward Island. He will be sadly missed by his fur babies, Frank and Flint. A private interment will take place at a later date in Prince Edward Island. Memorial donations may be made to Kings Co.
