BROWN, Edna Lucy-99 of Bridgetown, formerly of Middleton, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2010 in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born in Windsor, NS, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Swinamer. After raising her family, she was employed in the housekeeping business with motels in Wolfville and Middleton. She is survived by her son, Ronald (Catherine) Brown, Middleton; grandsons, Elwin (Jackie) Brown, Orleans, ON; Lorne (Kathy) Brown, Middleton, Gordon (Donna) Brown, Wilmot; Brian (Patricia) Brown, Lamont, AB; great grandchildren, Nicole, Nathan, Mitchell, Tyler, Maridith and Megan. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Carl, daughter, Helen in infancy; brothers, John and Emery, grandson, Dean Brown and great granddaughter, Jessie Dean Brown. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9PM, Friday, November 26, 2010 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, (902) 825-3448, where the funeral service will be held 10:30AM, Saturday, November 27, 2010. Pastor Karen Purdy officiating. Interment will be in Gaspereau Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to Mountain Lea Lodge.
