Harris, C. Elaine – Age 92 of Forest Glade Annapolis Co., passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at home. Born in Guysborough, she was a daughter of the late Douglas and Emma (Jones) Jamieson. Elaine will be remembered for her love and devotion to all animals. She would take in any animal in need. Elaine often said she understood animals much more than people. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Elaine is survived by daughters, Judy (Carroll) Little, Kingston, Linda (John) Spencer, Melvern Square, Kelly (Brian) Mailman, Dartmouth, Terrie (Kevin) Little, Forest Glade; son, Bruce Harris, East Margaretsville; brother, Allan (Polly) Jamieson, Mirimichi, NB; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; 1 great-great child. Besides her parents, Elaine was predeceased by her first husband, St. Clair Baker; second husband, Arnold Harris; sisters, Joan (Fred) Rice, Sylvia Banks; brother, Donald (Bev) Jamieson; grandchildren, Matthew Beck and Jillian Harris; great grandson, Dylan Little.  A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 15 ^th at 2 p.m. in Middleton Funeral Home 398 Main St., Middleton, N.S. toll free 1-855-825-3448. Due to the current pandemic restrictions, proof of full vaccination, masking and hand sanitization are required. Pastor Keith Pineo officiating.
