Veinotte, Elaine – 83, of Middleton, away passed Thursday, April 10, 2025 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Sydney, Cape Breton, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Florence (Ivany) Fletcher. Elaine started her working career with Maritime Tel & Tel and left to raise her family. She later returned to work with the Nova Scotia Liquor Commission, and then moved on to working at the Annavale Co-op. In retirement, Elaine's greatest joy was spending time with her granddaughter Mackenzie, and teaching her to crochet, and other crafts. Surviving are her sons, Shawn, Mahone Bay; Darren (Melissa), Timberlea; granddaughter Mackenzie; twin sister Carole Quinn, New Glasgow; brother Wayne Fletcher, Sydney; sister-in-law Norma Fletcher, Baddeck. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her infant daughter Kimberly, her sister Helen, and her brother Jim. There will be a private graveside service held in Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Middleton. Donations in memory may be made to Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery.
