FRANK, Elizabeth Jane - 65 of Torbrook West, Annapolis County passed away Saturday, September 8, 2012 in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton surrounded by her family. Born in Bridgewater, she was a daughter of the late Henry "Kirk" and Alvina (Lowe) Whalen. Elizabeth was a very hard working and generous person always willing to help her family, friends or complete strangers. She had a natural mechanical ability, enjoyed the outdoors, in particular hunting and was a huge Patsy Cline fan. She is survived by daughters Joanne Johnson (Jason Warrington), Yarmouth and Sherry Allen, Nictaux. Sisters, Lucille Tucker; Catherine (Peter) Ouelette; Joanne (Paul) Heney; Janice (Darcy) Morrison all of Ontario. Brothers, Wayne Whalen, Digby and Patrick Whalen, Mahone Bay; grandchildren Ronald, Michael, Sara, Celena, Tiffany and Courtney. Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held in the Simpson's Corner Hillside Cemetery, Rev. Juanita Barteaux officiating. By request, family flowers only.
