O'NEIL, Elizabeth "Betty" Maxine ~ Age 84, of North Williamston, Annapolis Co., passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021, in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 10, 1937, in Lawrencetown, Annapolis County, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Olive (Corkum) Whitman. Betty managed and operated the Dairy Treat for Twin Cities Dairy for ten years (known as "Pearls In Paradise"). She was a member of the Inglisville Baptist Church. She loved her family dearly, especially her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She is survived by her daughter, Karen (David) O'Neil-Watton, North Williamston; sons, Steve (Becky) O'Neil. Phinney's Cove; Mike (Kristene) O'Neil, Melvern Square; sister Frances (Earle) Whynot, Brickton; brother, Carrol Corkum, Lawrencetown; five grandchildren, Nicole (Norman) Galway, Nathan (Melanie), Brandon (Kenita), Emily (David),  Skylar O'Neil; five great grandchildren, Natalyn, Elliana, Aiden, Everett, River; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Eric O'Neil; son, Randy O'Neil; brother, Lawrence Whitman, and Lester Whitman. A private graveside service, by invitation only, will be held in Fairview Cemetery, Lawrencetown, with Juanita Richardson officiating. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., toll free 1-855-825-3448.
