ROSS, Elizabeth Lowden age 83 of Kingston passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. She was a daughter of the late Jack and Ella (McNab) Tait. Elizabeth was born in Yenangyung, Burma and educated and married in Scotland. She became a nurse and then spent a number of years living in Africa until moving to Canada in 1961. Elizabeth is survived by her husband, George Ross, Kingston; daughters, Marilyn Gail Ross, St. John's , NFLD; Carolyn Gwen Ross, Whitehorse, Yukon; Maria Lorraine Hamilton, Saint John, NB; son Simon George Peter (Melissa)Ross, Philadelphia; cousin, Ena, New Zealand; grandchildren Matthew and Joshua Ellis; Katie Hamilton, Kristina, Jenna, Tiffany, Ben and Skyler and great grandchildren, Austin, Michael, Scott and Kaleb. Cremation has taken place. A Private Family Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, April 21, 2015 in the Middleton Funeral Home 398 Main Street (902) 825-3448 with Rev. Bruce Kaiser officiating.
