Tidd, Ella Marie – of Middleton, died Friday, December 2, 2022 in Heart of the Valley Long Term Care Center, Middleton. Born in Little River, Digby County, she was a daughter of the late William and Sarah (Morehouse) Frost. She wore the titles of Mom, Gram, Aunt, and Prunella. Titles that she served with love and pride. Gardening was one of her favorite past times earning her the title of Prunella. "Gram" who always knew what was going on in the lives of the "kids" from the oldest child to the youngest great grandchild. Her "red hair roots" came shining through defending and protecting. "You hurt my kids, you deal with me." Comforting family and friends in difficult situations, she was known to say "I prayed real hard." A life dedicated to family, her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren; all were her pride and joy. She had tight ties on all our hearts. We were so blessed by her. Saddened by her death are daughters, Cheryl (John) Tufts, Paradise; Bonnie (John) Wooler, Karsdale; son Randy (Jocelyne) Tidd, Little Brook; daughter-in-law, Terry Tidd, Deep Brook; grandchildren, Andrew (Katherine) Tufts; Peter (Tamara) Tufts; Sarah (Derek) Klein; Craig (Melanie) Tidd; Amanda (Dan) Hudson; Scott (Joline) Tidd; Katie (Colin) Tanner; great grandchildren, Madeline, Ella, Hayzen, Charlotte, Aiden, Ben, Freya, Lexi, Carson, Emmeline; 7 nieces and 2 nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Hazen, son Kevin, sister Geneva, and brothers Cliften and Delmar. There will be a private graveside service in Pine Grove Cemetery, Middleton with Rev. Libby Amirault officiating. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of choice.
