Trapp (Dodge), Ellen "Lucille" – Age 94 of Middleton, Annapolis Co., passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, after a brief illness. Born in Middleton, she was a daughter of the late J. Parker and Nellie (Young) Dodge.

Being a busy military wife with seven children she moved to military bases across the country, including Greenwood, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, Saskatchewan, and Ontario. They also lived in France for three years. Once back in civilian life, they spent time in Alberta and Ontario before retiring to Middleton. She is survived by daughters, Darlene (Jim) Shelley, Greenwood Square, Wendy (Mario) Luciano, Pamela Trapp, both of Thunder Bay, Ontario; sons, Drew (Jacqueline) Trapp, Headingley, Manitoba, James (Roberta) Trapp, Nampa, Idaho, Gregory Trapp (Marilyn Durepos), Baie Comeau, Quebec, Steven Trapp, Thunder Bay, Ontario; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Lucille was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Orin E. Trapp; sister, Beatrice Riley; brother, Gordon Dodge. The family would like to thank the many VON care givers over the past 3.5 years and to Dr. MacDonald at Valley Regional Hospital. A special thanks to good friend, Bev who was a great support for many years.

Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2023 in Pine Grove Cemetery, Middleton.
