BANKS, Eric Ralph age 60 of Torbrook Mines passed away Wednesday July 12, 2017, at Valley Regional Hospital after a short battle with cancer. He was the son of the late Vaughn and Virginia (Comeau) Banks. Eric was a contractor/carpenter his entire career. He loved working with his hands and continued to do so even through his illness.  Eric could tackle any challenge from a new construction to remodeling just about anything. He was always willing to lend a helping hand; always had a funny tale to tell and was the kindest soul you could ever meet. He is survived by his sons, Evan (Greenwood), Ross (Burton NB); daughters, Erin (Greenwood), Amanda (Burton, NB) and Selina (Fredericton); granddaughters, Destiny and Aunica; sisters, Mona (Mark) Pearl, Janet (Tom) Small and Darlene (Troy) Eisnor and brother, Nelson; several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and a whole lot of cousins. He was predeceased by his eldest brother Dwight. In keeping with Eric's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 3:30 PM Sunday, July 16th in the Torbrook Baptist Church with Rev. Bill McLeod officiating. Interment will be in Torbrook Mines United Cemetery. A reception will follow the interment in the Three Rivers Community Hall.
