FRASER, Eric David ~ Age 78, of West Berwick, Kings Co., passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 9, 2020, at home. Born on May 21, 1942, in Halifax, he was a son of the late Fred W. and Gladys E. (Brown) Fraser. In his early years, Eric worked as a farmer, owning his own farm in Hardwood Lands. Moving to the Annapolis Valley in 1977, he first worked at Trinners, Easson Transport, Frasers Supplies, Shur Gain and David Brown Trucking. Eric loved his time trucking.  He was a devoted member of Weston Christian Fellowship Church and was a friend of Bill W.  Eric loved time spent in the outdoors with many hours burning brush as well as cutting and splitting wood. Surviving are his wife of 35 years, the former Dorothy G. "Dot" Whitman; children, Norman (Ellen) Weir, Alberta; Charlene (Terry) Michels, British Columbia; Angela (David) Parrish, South Waterville; Douglas Fraser, Kingston; Timothy (Connie) Weir, Black Rock; David (Melanie) Weir, Halifax; Renee (Tony) Gustofson, British Columbia; grandchildren, Cloe, Jake, Joel (Chrissy), Devon (Natasha), Timothy Jr., Jacob, Thomas, Gracie, Ethan, Nichole, Taylor and Kelly; great granddaughter, Bella; sister, Muriel Smith, Truro; brother, Robie (Frankie) Fraser, Ontario; numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by granddaughter, Olivia; sister, Mabel Grant; brothers, Alfred, Graham and Lloyd Fraser. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. In keeping with public gathering restrictions, the funeral service will take place at 2 p.m., Friday, July 17, in Weston Christian Fellowship Church, 3611 Brooklyn Street, Weston. Mr. Marty Elson officiating, with interment in East Black Rock Cemetery.  A live stream of the service will be available to be viewed through the funeral home website 'Live Stream' option beginning at 1:55 pm ADT, Friday afternoon.
