Obituary

PAGE, Eric Leslie - age 92, Wilmot, Annapolis Co., passed away on Monday, July 14, 2014, in the Soldier's Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Hellingly, England, he was a son of the late Frederick J. and Fannie J. (Jarman) Page. Eric was a veteran of the Second World War, serving with the R.A.F. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No.1, Middleton. He was retired from Maritime Tel and Tel and had drove a school bus. Surviving are sons, Leslie (Kathy) Page, Grafton; Anthony (Mary) Page, Red Deer, Alta.; daughter, Myra (Danny) Bruce, Boundary Creek, N.B.; grandchildren, George (the late Debbie), Ronda (Roger), Jamie, Nicole (Jon) and Adam; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Taylor, Emily, Ellen, Scott, Alexander, Makenzie and Brendan; brother, George Page, Hailsham, England; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Muriel A. (Smith) Page; son, Darrel Page; brothers, Harold, Donald, Aubrey, Victor, Cyril, Gordon and Reginald Page; sister, Myrtle Catt. Visitation will take place from 7-9 p.m., Tuesday evening in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448, from where the funeral service, followed by a reception will take place at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 16, with Rev Leon Langille officiating. Interment will be in the Nictaux Community Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in his memory may be made to Veterans Wing or Mayflower Unit of the Soldier's Memorial Hospital, Middleton.
