MacKENZIE, Ethel Irene - 96yrs, of East Margaretsville, NS passed away Friday, October 5, 2012 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Blomidon, NS she was a daughter of the late Earle and Clara (Webster) Daniels. She is survived by her daughter, Cauleen (Ray) Gagnon, East Margaretsville; her son, Ronald "Bud" MacKenzie (Donna Odell), Edmonton, AB; her sister, Viola Shaffner, Lawrencetown and grandson, Ken Billington, Edmonton, AB. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Kenneth; sister Bessie Young and brother James. By Ethel's request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448 . Interment will be in the Bayview Cemetery, East Margaretsville.
