SAUNDERS, Ethel "Marilyn" ~ age 80 of Nictaux Falls, NS passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born in Windsor Forks, NS, she was a daughter of the late Robie Leslie and Lottie Mae (Bezanson) Rawding. Marilyn loved doing arts and crafts, was a great cook and seamstress. She was a member of the Nictaux Baptist Church and past member of the church choir. Marilyn was a member of the Baptist Friendly Club and did volunteer work in the community. Marilyn is survived by daughters, Cindy (Rob) Arn, Brantford, ON; Mary Ellen (Byron) Buscombe, Brantford, ON; sons, Michael (Gail) Town, Windsor, ON; Larry Town, Edmonton, AB; sisters, Rosemary (Vaughan) Elliott, Nictaux; Paula (Allen) Beaumont, Riverview, NB; brother, Lawrence "Larry" Rawding, Nictaux Falls; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Marilyn was predeceased by her husband, Cecil "Paul"; sons, Randy and Frank; brothers, Douglas, Donald, Orick and Frank. In keeping with Marilyn's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. Interment will be in the Nictaux Cemetery at a later date.
