Obituary

GAUL, Ethelwyn Mary - age 94, of Paradise, NS passed away peacefully Sunday, July 6, 2014 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Brooklyn, Annapolis County she was a daughter of the late Harry and Olive (Blackadar) Trimper. Ethelwyn was a great cook and loved her daily newspaper especially the cryptoquote. She is survived by her sons, David (Mona) Gaul, Bridgetown; Phillip (Emily) Gaul, Fredericton, NB; Peter Gaul, Hinton, AB; her grandchildren, Patty, Kim, Kevin, Donna, Annette, Daniel and James; seven great-grandchildren; daughters-in-law, Mary Gaul, Ontario; Marie Gaul, Paradise and several nieces and nephews and special neighbour Peggy King, Paradise for all the kindness shown to our mom over the years. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Gerald; sons, James "Jim" Gaul; William "Bill" Gaul; sisters, Helen Morse and Margaret Barteaux; brothers, Garnet Trimper, Linley Trimper and Donald Trimper. In keeping with Ehtelwyn's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held 2:00PM Tuesday, July 15, 2014 in the Fairview Cemetery, Lawrencetown with Rev. Patty Beals officiating. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or to Fairview Cemetery, Lawrencetown.
