WALKER (Foster), Evelyn Gertrude ~ age 93 of Hampton, NS, passed away Friday, March 1, 2019, in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born in Round Hill, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Eva (Gesner) McAndrews. Evelyn was a member of the Hampton United Baptist Church and was very active in community activities including the Hampton Cemetery. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Evelyn loved her family dearly, especially all her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great granddaughter. She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Longmire, Parkers Cove; Valerie Poole, Hampton; sons, Gordon (Betty) Foster, Lower Sackville; Paul (Tanya) Foster, Hampton; grandchildren, Kevin Longmire, Lequille; Kirk (Melissa) Longmire, Coldbrook; Krista Toole, Middleton; Bradford (Jennifer) Poole, Hampton; Mark (Debbie) Poole, Litchfield; Jillian Foster (Tyler), Elmsdale; Samuel Foster, Lower Sackville; Briana Foster (Robbie), Charlottetown, PEI; great grandchildren, Jonathan, Jordan, Maria, Chelsea, Madison, Katelyn, Jason, Zachary, Hastings; great-great granddaughter, Scarlett and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Lester Foster (1986); second husband, Harold Walker (2003); sisters, Marion, Dora, Florence, Phyllis, twin sisters Marie and Joan; brother Harold; sons-in-law, Meb Poole (2007) and Morris Longmire (2012). Funeral service will be held 2:00PM, Tuesday, March 5, 2019, in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., toll free 1-855-825-3448 with Rev. Dr. Randy Legassie officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow the service. Interment will be in the Hampton Cemetery.
