GARRETT, Evelyn "Christine" aged 68 of Middleton passed away suddenly Tuesday, February 9, 2016. Christine was born in Halifax but resided in the Annapolis Valley. She worked for many years at National Gypsum. She was predeceased by her mother Rebecca (Nance) Batt and brother, Bill Deering. She is survived by her partner and best friend, Carroll Mappleback and children Denise and Derick both of Ontario and brother, Darryl Deering (Joan), Queensland, NS. Christine loved and was loved by nieces Nadine Deering (Tim); Jacqueline Deering (Darren); Tanya Deering (Andrew) and nephews Jason Deering (Deedee) and Michael Deering (Nicki). Christine loved drives in the country with Carroll, bird watching in the back yard, weekly card games with good friend Dee Howdy and of course her Tim's coffee. Cremation has taken place and no service by request. If you wish donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
