MILLS MARTIN, Evelyn Rose ~ Age 90 of Annapolis Royal, NS passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Orchard Villa in Middleton. Born in London, England she was the daughter of the late Lionel and Clara (Lindsell) Short. Evelyn was very active in her community. She was a former member of the Annapolis General Hospital Auxiliary, garden club with the Historic Gardens and a member at the Annapolis Royal Golf Club. Evelyn enjoyed painting, gardening, and cooking.  Above all, she loved her family and will be remembered as the greatest "Mum" ever.  She is survived by her daughters, Diane (Harold) Macpherson, Dartmouth; Shirley Mills, (John Hanscomb), Margaretsville; Pamela Mills (Erin Matthews), Ottawa; sons, Malcolm (Dolores) Mills, New Glasgow; Norman (Kelly) Mills, Ottawa and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Evelyn was predeceased by her 1 ^st husband, Norman Mills, 2 ^nd husband, Guy Martin and daughter Vivian Kearney. The family would like to thank the staff at Orchard Villa, Middleton for their kindness, love and caring during mum's residency. In keeping with Evelyn's wishes, cremation has taken place and interment will be in Ontario at a later date. Donations in Evelyn's memory can be made to Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
