BURGOYNE, Everett Eugene ~ age 77 of Wilmot, NS passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville with Connie lovingly by his side. Born in Springfield, NS he was a son of the late Stanley and Sadie (Robar) Burgoyne. Everett was a "jack of all trades" and would do anything for anybody. In his younger years, he worked in the woods and later was a self employed automotive mechanic. He was a commercial fisherman and had his own boat and ran a take out restaurant in Victoria Vale and Margaretsville. Everett had a hobby farm and had a great sense of humour and loved to tease people. He enjoyed fishing and going for trips on his side by side. Everett will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving spouse of 50 years, Constance "Connie" Nogler, Wilmot; sisters, Judy Burgoyne, Wilmot; Eva (Paul) Brown, Aylesford; Donna Ross, Forest Glade; daughter, Wanda Martin, Wolfville; grandson, Michael Zwicker and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Blanche, in infancy and granddaughter Katanna MacDonald. In keeping with Everett's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at a later date.
