RICHARDS, Everett William ~ Age 83, of Berwick, Kings Co., passed away on Monday, September 23, 2019, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born on January 9, 1936, in Morristown, Kings Co., he was a son of the late Edmund and Dorothy (Haund) Richards. Everett had worked at a number of various jobs over his life time and had retired from Weavexx in 2001 with over 29 years of service. He was a veteran member of Berwick & District Volunteer Fire Department. Everett will be sadly missed by his wife of 35 years, the former Margaret R. Kay; son, Michael (Amanda) Richards, Wilmot; daughter, Vicki (Lawrence) Oickle, Berwick; grandchildren, Nena and Amanda; five great grandchildren; three nephews and one niece. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sister, Mae Haayer. There will be no visitation. Memorial service, followed by a reception will take place at 3 p.m., Friday, September 27, in Berwick & District Volunteer Fire Hall, 300 Commercial St., Berwick. Rev. Layton MacDonald officiating,  with interment will be in Berwick Cemetery.
