VEINOT, Everett Ronald-88 of Bloomington, passed away, Sunday, April 14, 2013 in the QEII Halifax Infirmary Site. Born in Nineveh, Lunenburg County, he was a son of the late Milford Veinot and Ina Smith. Everett was a veteran of the Second World War, having served with the North Nova Scotia Regiment from 1944 until 1946, with the infantry in Canada, Britain and North West Europe and was awarded the War Medal. He retired after 20 years from the Department of Transportation, Middleton. Everett attended the Nictaux Baptist Church for a number of years. He loved singing, yodeling and playing his guitar. He is survived by his wife the former, Una Trask; daughters, Kim Veinot (Marc Lemire), Bloomington and Doreen Handley, Wilmot; sons, Danny Veinot (Tasha Uhlman) Torbrook and Ronald "Ron" Veinot, New Germany; sister, Irma (David) Haughn, Lunenburg and grandchildren, Ron (Lisa) McLain, Ontario; Jace Uhlman; Fallan Veinot, both of Torbrook; great grandchildren Ron Everett McLain 2nd "RJ"; Crystal and Kelly Irvine, Ontario; great-great grandchildren Gracey Marengere, Caiden Marengere and Roland Funstin and nephews, Darren Haughn and Dean Haughn. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, the former Yvonne Crouse. Visitation will be held 7:00 to 9:00PM, Wednesday, April 17, 2013 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street (902) 825-3448 where the funeral service will be held 2:00PM Thursday, April 18, 2013 with Rev.
