Obituary

MORSE, Ferna Mae – 88 of Greenwood Square passed away Saturday, October 8, 2016, in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton with her family by her side. Born in Nicholsville, Kings County, she was a daughter of the late James and Sadie (Spinney) Collins. Ferna enjoyed watching game shows and loved to play cards. She will be sadly missed by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, who she loved dearly. Ferna is survived by her sons, Gary Morse (Kathy Whitewood), Kentville; John (Janet) Morse, Millville; and Philip (Kristina) Morse, Greenwood Square; sisters, Jean (Alan) Smith, Kentville; and Pearle Keddy, Millville; brother, Ross Collins, Ontario; grandchildren, Ryan, Tyler, Hayley, Matthew, Shawn, Alicia and Jason as well as 15 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald; daughter-in-law, Patricia; sister, Margaret; and brothers, Lester, Milton and Cyril. By request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from 7 – 9 P.M. Friday, October 14 th in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., 902 825-3448, where a memorial service and reception will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 15 th , with Rev. Chad Clements officiating. Private family interment will be in the North Kingston Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
