CORBIN, Flora Eleaner-81of Berwick formerly of Greenwood, NS passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013 in Grand View Manor, Berwick. Born in Lower Tantallon, she was a daughter of the late Percy and Eva May (Robar) Ernst. Flora spent most of her life in Halifax, working at the Children's Hospital and the old and new IWK as a nurse's aid. She moved to Kingston in 1977. She belonged to the Faith Baptist Church, Greenwood. Flora loved gospel music and studying the bible. She had a sewing business in her home in Greenwood. She is survived by her son, Cyril Ernst; daughter -in-law, Laurie Ann (McKay) Ernst; two grandchildren, three great grandchildren; sister, Eileen Sabine, Melvern Square; brother, Harold Ernst, Bridgetown; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Corbin; sisters, Eveline Robar, Evelyne Burns and Hilda Muise; brothers, Arnold Robar, Harry Ernst, Howard Ernst, Lloyd Ernst and three nephews. A funeral service and reception will be held 2:00PM Saturday, April 27, 2013 in the Middleton Funeral Home 398 Main Street (902) 825-3448 with Rev. Dr. William Moorehead and Dr. Brian Banks officiating. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Middleton.
