CALDWELL, Florence May – age 99 of Bridgetown, NS passed away Thursday, November 3, 2016 in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born in Clarence, she was a daughter of the late Ainsley and Lottie (Blanchard) Sabean. Florence was a member of the Bridgetown Baptist Church and loved quilting, knitting and going to bingo. She is survived by her chosen children; daughter, Patsy (Reg) Chute, Bridgetown; sons, Vernon (Betty) Caldwell, Greenwood; Eugene (Grace) Caldwell, Hampton; Randall (Koena) Caldwell and Jeffrey (Krista) Caldwell, both of Bridgetown; sister, Leta Keddy, Berwick; brothers, Lindon Sabean, South Williamston; Robert Sabean, Grafton; 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Freeman; sisters Edith, Mary, Bessie; brothers Guy, Johnson, George; grandson Philip; granddaughter Veronica and sons Harold and Jackie, in infancy. Funeral service will be held 2:00PM Monday, November 7, 2016 in Bridgetown Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Wallace officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow the service. Interment will be in the Hampton Cemetery. Donations in Florence's memory may be made to the Bridgetown Baptist Church.
