PEMBERTON, Florence "Myrtle" ~ of Kingston, Kings Co., It is with great love, respect and heartache that we announce the death of our mother after 81 wonderful years. Mom died peacefully on March 3, 2020 at Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, with dignity, surrounded by her daughters. We have been so fortunate to have had such a great example of courage, compassion and strength. Our mother's life has been a shining star for us to follow and that light will never dim.  Born on February 25, 1939, in Glace Bay, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Gillis) Allison. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by son, Joseph; granddaughter, Michelle in infancy; sister, Rita Irene in infancy; brother, John Allison. There will be no visitation. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11am on Saturday March 14th in St. Monica's Roman Catholic Church,  41 Connaught Ave., Middleton.
