BRUCE, Flossie Eva-76 of Melvern Square, passed away, Monday, August 29, 2011 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Gaspereau, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Eva (Harvey) McInnis. For many years Flossie worked as a cook at the B&D Car Hop, Soldiers Memorial Hospital and the Aurora Inn. She also did household cleaning, working up until a couple of years ago. Flossie enjoyed bowling and going to bingo. She loved her family dearly, especially all her grandchildren. She is survived by sons, Richard (Phyllis), Melvern Square and Danny (Myra), Moncton, NB; grandchildren, Diane, David, Jolene and Bradley; great grandchildren, Tabatha, Rodney, Brady and Samantha; sisters, Daisy Hancock, Mount Denson; Grace Millet, Canning; Iona Faulkner, Hantsport; Louise McInnis, Windsor; brother, Larry McInnis, Kingston. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Leta Mayo, Beatrice Pack, Audrey Leighton, Vera Clowry and brother Gilbert. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00PM, Thursday, September 1, 2011 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448 with Rev. Leon Langille officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow the service, all are welcome. Donations in Flossies memory may be made to the Soldiers Memorial Hospital Foundation.
