ADAMS, Marie Emma Franoise Frances- 84, of Wilmot, passed away Friday, July 23, 2010 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Montreal, Quebec, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Bernadette (Rivard) Adam. Frances retired as a secretary from Dalhousie University working in both the music and engineering departments. She had been involved with and a previous candidate for the Reform Party. While in Montreal, she received her pilots license at the age of 20. Frances loved travelling and had been to Europe. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by nieces, Danille Mnard, Laval; Suzanne Mnard (Hans Fleury), Laval; nephew, Alain Mnard, Gatineau; several great nieces and nephews and great - great nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Margo and Theresa. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held in Montreal at a later date.
