Obituary

DEVEAU, Frances "Joan" ~ age 79 of Wilmot, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at home. Born in Sackville, NB, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Sadie (Scott) Sears. In her early years, Joan worked for the Sackville Tribune Post and was later employed in the restaurant industry. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. Joan was from a family of 12 children and was dearly loved by all her family members and will be deeply missed. Joan is survived by her husband George; daughter Annette "Colleen" (Dan) Zimolag, Dunnville, ON; son David "Bruce" (Connie) Deveau, Hamilton, ON; daughter-in-law Linda Deveau, Upper Sackville, NS. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, "Stephen" Russell. In keeping with Joan's request, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Interment will take place at a later date in Sackville, NB. Donations in memory may be made to Diabetes Canada or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
