KEDDY, Frances Clara – 92 of Greenwood, passed away Friday, January 20, 2017 at home surrounded by her family. Born in England, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Annie (Rogers) Rawle. Frances will be remembered as a true animal lover and also enjoyed playing bingo and Yahtzee. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Kenneth; daughter, Shirley (Gene) Meister, Tremont; sons Robert (Susan), Ontario; Ashley and Vaughn (Linda) both of Greenwood; brother, Doug (Alice) Rawle, Berwick. Too numerous to mention are many grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great great grandchild as well as several nieces and nephews. Frances was predeceased by her brother Bernard; sisters Joan, Olive and Ruth; children Bessie, Susan, Caroline and Stephen. Her family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the VON, the Doctors and nurses at Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton as well as Dr. Ainamo and staff. By request, her body has been donated to Medical Science. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, 902 825-3448 with Rev. Leon Langille officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow the service. By request family flowers only.
